HEAD IN THE CLOUDS

When it comes to vertical living in Palm Beach, La Clara checks all the right boxes.

There are many reasons to fall in love with La Clara, the
much-buzzed-about residential tower set to rise next to the
Intracoastal Waterway on the 1500 block of South Flagler Drive.
First off are the names behind the project. Developed by the
award-winning Great Gulf and Terrace Mountain companies,
the high-rise will boast the design talents of Siamak Hariri, an
architect with 60 awards to his credit best known for the Bahá’í
Temple of South America, a house of worship for people of all
faiths set on the foothills of the Andes Mountains right outside
Santiago, Chile, that’s widely considered one of the world’s
modern architectural marvels.

Hariri has infused the essence of the temple’s spiritual
aesthetic into every aspect of La Clara, a place where residences,
as he puts it, “offer a new tangible lifestyle and neighbors share a
vision that inspires equilibrium in daily living.”
Rising 25 stories high, La Clara houses 83 one- to threebedroom
residences sized between 1,500 to 3,000 square
feet with prices starting at $2 million. Inside these units are
top-of-the-line design features such as Miele kitchen and
laundry appliances, Kohler bath fixtures, bespoke Snaidero
kitchen cabinetry and Caesarstone countertops. Nine-feet-plus
ceilings and extra-wide terraces with unobstructed views of the
Intracoastal and, in most cases, Palm Beach and the Atlantic
add to the allure of the property.

Throughout the public spaces and exterior, white stucco,
Roman travertine, coral stone and granite with bronze accents
set a tone of luxurious modernity. But it’s the attention to detail
when it comes to amenities that ultimately distinguishes La
Clara from other luxury condo buildings. Among the on-site
extras residents will enjoy is a Tammy Fender skincare concierge
offering a range of services, including holistic facials and
reflexology, in La Clara’s spa; the Onblonde Pet Spa + Boutique,
a so-called “puppy palace” for dogs of all sizes; and the services of
master sommelier Virginia Philip, whose team will be available
to residents for wine consultations and customized tastings in La
Clara’s wine cellar and tasting room.

“As we witness a continued migration from big cities to
the Palm Beaches, luxury buyers look for resort services from
the comfort of their homes,” says Sales Director Chris Leavitt.
“A hallmark of La Clara will be an authentic Palm Beach way of
life, where residents can easily experience the bespoke brands of
local Palm Beachers.” Sales gallery: 50 Cocoanut Row, Palm Beach,
